So after about 6 years of not playing I am considering getting back into
Stars.

Manual - check
What are we on "j-patch" still - check
serial - check, I just hope that some tosser has not lucked out and guessed
mine.

Now to fiddle with the race setup for a while and then find a game.

So is the benchmark still 25k or has that now been changed?

How about hosting a PBEM game yourself? I've never won a game against
other players, but I'd like to play again. I just don't care for
autohost.
